The project for Top Event represents the perfect synergy of research, strategy and creative design.

By combining a universal element like music with a clear visual identity, a brand has been created that is not afraid to stand out in the events industry.

CHALLENGE:

The client, who is also a personal friend of the owner and creative director, approached us looking for a reliable partner to create the visual identity of his new event organization company, Top Event Group.

The primary challenge, common to all startups, was how to stand out from the competition and ensure their survival in the market.

The business was still in its inception phase, with no prior branding elements, and the secondary challenge lay in communicating its niche focus.
The founders wanted to position their company as a specialist for larger-scale festivals and events, but without turning away clients looking for smaller or more traditional types of events. This created a unique branding challenge: to create an identity that would directly appeal to their ideal audience, while at the same time being inclusive of a wider range of events.

SOLUTION:

In order to ensure client differentiation in the market, we researched the competition and analyzed them as brands.

We noticed that most of them were designed in the brand archetype of the Caregiver, which is compatible with the target group, which mostly belongs to the archetypes of the Magician and the Jester, and saw an opportunity to stand out in the crowd with an authentic appearance.
In consultation with the clients we decided to design Top Event in the archetypes of the target group (which also came more naturally to the clients).

We approached the secondary challenge by relying on a universal language - music.
Music, as a common element of all events, whether corporate gatherings or cheerful festivals, simultaneously united all potential clients and communicated directly to ideal clients.

This idea resonated with the clients and became the basis for building a logo designed to resemble a musical equalizer shaped like a triangle, symbolizing the “top” experience that the target group can expect from organizing events with Top Event.

PROCESS:

The development of the visual identity for Top Event began with an in-depth analysis of the competition and a thorough understanding of the target audience. A key step involved researching the event organization market to identify opportunities for differentiation and define the needs and expectations of ideal clients. This research provided the foundation for creating a brand strategy focused on delivering unforgettable experiences and entertainment, positioning the brand through the archetypes of the Magician and the Jester. The goal was to highlight the ultimate result—top-tier events—rather than the organizational process, allowing for an emotional connection with the target audience and creating positive associations at first glance.

The design concept revolved around music, a universal symbol of fun and energy. Inspired by the shape of a sound equalizer, we designed a symbol resembling an equalizer shaped as a triangle, symbolizing the "top" experience, with a hidden detail of an exclamation mark that can be used as a standalone visual element. The color gradient, rarely used in branding, introduced a sense of fluidity and dynamism to the organizational process, while vibrant, saturated colors reflected the energy and vibrancy of the events the company organizes.

Through close collaboration with the client, every element of the visual identity was aligned with their vision. Client feedback was instrumental in refining and finalizing the identity to meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. In the end, we delivered a comprehensive package that included a brand guidelines manual with detailed instructions, a logo in vector and raster formats, and a set of fonts for consistent application across all communication channels. We also provided support and guidance for implementing the identity across digital and print media, enabling a professional presentation to clients and partners.

The entire process resulted in a unique visual identity that highlights the values and goals of Top Event while distinguishing them in the market. This approach demonstrated our commitment to delivering innovative, strategic, and visually impactful solutions that enable brands to communicate clearly with their audience and leave a lasting impression.
